Under the Act, those minerals include: \n \n➢ Tantalum – Ta \n➢ Tin – Sn \n➢ Gold – Au \n➢ Tungsten - W \n \nCongress enacted Section 1502 of the Act because of concerns that the exploitation and trade of conflict \nminerals by armed groups is helping to finance conflict in the DRC region and is contributing to an emergency \nhumanitarian crisis. Section 1502 of the Act amends the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 to add Section \n13(p). \n \n-end \n \nThe only products Allied sells containing these minerals, listed on their respective SDS, are found listed in the \ntable below. \n \nDescription \nItem Nos. \n Mineral \nDiamond wafering blade(s) \n60-200XX into 60-30XXX, 60-10XXX including up to \n60-40XXX series \nSn, W \nMetal/resin bond diamond \ntools \n15-92XXBX.X \nSn \nEnd mills \n15-922XXXX and 15-924XXXX series \nW \n \n \nAllied conducts reasonable ‘country of origin’ inquiries with its suppliers to help determine whether any of the \nminerals contained in these products originate from the covered countries or are from scrap or recycled \nsources. \n \nThrough its efforts, there is no reason to believe that minerals identified may have originated in the covered \ncountries or originate from either scrap or recycled sources. \n \nAllied diligently scrutinizes its business partners in its sourcing efforts, choosing to work with companies with a \nstrong ethical reputation and integrity. \n \n \n \n \n \n</pre></details>",
