The hinged, \nclear plastic door with magnetic lock prevents dust \ncontamination. Five (5) trays are included.\nRecirculating System\nThe recirculating filtration system allows up to 3-stage \nfiltering down to 2 microns and is mounted in a durable \ncabinet that supports Allied grinding/polishing machines. \nThe environmentally friendly filtration system saves up to 1/2 \ngallon of water per minute with quick-change filters. They are \nused with adhesive backed discs, double sided adhesive \ndiscs and paper holding bands, or when converting to a \nmagnetic platen using magnetic bases.\nDisc holding bands are made of anodized aluminum and \nsecure plain back discs to a standard platen. A protrusion \naround the top of the band allows variable sized discs \n(± 3 mm) to be secured.\nThese reusable ferromagnetic stainless steel discs feature a \nnonslip backing and allow adhesive backed cloths/abrasive \ndiscs to be changed quickly and easily when using magnetic \nplatens.\nDouble sided adhesive discs are adhered to a standard platen \nand used to secure plain back silicon carbide abrasive discs. \nEach provides 25-75 disc pulls depending on grit size, cycle \ntime and force.\nMagnetic platens combine a standard aluminum platen with \na cross-hatched magnetic surface for maximum flatness \nand adherence. All functions are \nprogrammed using the touchpad switches on its \nfaceplate.
