The pneumatic system \nprovides controlled sample force and allows between \none and four samples up to 2" (51 mm) diameter to \nbe prepared simultaneously. They are \nused with adhesive backed discs, double sided adhesive \ndiscs and paper holding bands, or when converting to a \nmagnetic platen using magnetic bases.\nDisc holding bands are made of anodized aluminum and \nsecure plain back discs to a standard platen.
