Rings can be mixed or matched for \nmaximum versatility. \nThe four (4) and six (6) position holders are used with the \nPH-4™ and PH-6™ power heads, respectively, both featuring \n50 mm openings. Rings are sold separately.\nIndividual force holders allow one or more samples to \nbe prepared simultaneously. The advantage of individual \npreparation is that it allows removal of any number of samples \nfrom the grinding/polishing operation without affecting balance \nof the system. It is also ideal for applications where small \ngeometry and site-specific cross-section requirements make \nalignment of more than three (3) samples to a common plane \nextremely challenging.\nCentral force holders secure mounts/samples on a common \nplane. A minimum of three (3) samples must be prepared at \nonce for balance. Custom shapes and sizes are available.\nTeardrop holders allow flexibility in the shape and size of the \nsample that can be held. They are \nused with adhesive backed discs, double sided adhesive \ndiscs and a combination of non-adhesive discs and paper \nholding bands.\nMagnetic platens combine a standard aluminum platen with \na cross-hatched magnetic surface for maximum flatness \nand adherence. This five (5) position dispenser \nconnects to the back of the MetPrep 4x™, and is \ncontrolled and programmed through the touchscreen. \nPositions 4 and 5 feature high-speed pumps for \ndispensing colloidal solutions, and a magnetic stirring \nfunction for use with polishing slurries that normally \nsettle.\nThe dispenser features a pivoting manifold mounted \non the powerhead to position the dispensing nozzles \nso liquids clear the sample holder.\nIntuitive programming of all parameters\nFeatures: \n•\t Five (5) dispensing positions, 16 oz.
