They are \nused with plain/adhesive backed discs, double-sided \nadhesive discs and disc holding bands, or when converting to \na magnetic platen using magnetic bases.\nMagnetic platens combine a standard aluminum platen with \na cross-hatched magnetic surface for maximum flatness and \nadherence. This allows \nadhesive backed abrasive discs/polishing cloths to be easily \nremoved after use without any adhesive transfer.
