It accommodates blades up to 10" \n(250 mm) in diameter, allowing a wide variety of \nsample shapes and sizes up to 3.75" (95 mm) \nthick to be sectioned. \nVersatile: Dual T-slot tables allow front-to-back \nand side-to-side vise/clamp positioning. A side \nport allows cutting of longer samples such as \nbar stock.\nDurable: Engineered and constructed using \nprecision machined, hard-anodized aluminum \nand stainless steel components to provide \nmaximum longevity. The vises can be positioned anywhere \nalong the T-slots, and allow samples up to 3" (76 mm) \ndeep to be secured.\nQuick-Slide Vise\nItem Description\n5-4005\t\n Quick-Slide Stainless Steel Vise\nTwo T-slot tables allow the use of a wide range \nof clamping and fixturing options available to \naccommodate a variety of sample shapes and sizes. \nEach measuring 7.75" D x 4.00" W (197 x 102 mm), \nthey are machined from aluminum billet and fitted with \nstainless steel tops for durability. Lateral adjustment \nenables precise vise positioning for precision sectioning \napplications.\nT-slot Tables \nThe vertical adjusting clamp can be positioned in any \norientation throughout the T-slots in the tables. The \nheight adjustable lever allows various size samples up \nto 2.25" (57 mm) thick to be secured. Interchangeable \npads are available for a variety of sample shapes. It \nprevents this portion from falling as the end of the cut \nnears, minimizing the burr upon completion. Made of \ncross-braced aluminum for vibration control, strength \nand stability, it is configured for proper routing of \nelectrical cords, drain hose and coolant supply tubing. \nIt features a large, deep drawer for storing fixtures, \ntools and blades, and a hinged door to house the \nrecirculating coolant system. One (1) #5-4210 Roller \nCart is included.\nThe 7-gallon (26.5 L) recirculating coolant system \nis constructed of corrosion resistant materials for \nmaximum durability. The reservoir fits conveniently \nin the available cabinet, or can be placed near the \nmachine in existing lab furniture. A removable catch \nscreen enables quick cleaning of larger particles. \nBaffles inside the reservoir trap particulates.
