5KFWH 5-inch URO Wool heavy-pile cutting pad
The 5KFWH is the long-pile heavy-cut member of the five-inch URO Wool range. Natural knitted wool provides strong defect-removal capacity, while the blueberry foam interface and beveled perimeter support panel contact and control on shaped surfaces.

Cutting behaviour
The 0.75-inch pile is intended for heavy correction and supplies more fiber movement than the short-pile KFWH variant. It is suitable when defect removal is the main objective and a later refining step is available.
Long fibers can move more on long-throw dual-action machines. Verify balance and surface stability on a test area; the shorter-pile version may be preferable where precise long-throw control is more important than maximum pile movement.
Machine compatibility
Align the 5.25-inch loop diameter to the backing plate and keep the pad correctly centered. Match compound, speed and pressure to the coating hardness and correction target, then inspect temperature and residue during the first cycle.

Cleaning and safety
Heavy cutting loads wool quickly with paint residue and compound. Clean between sections and change pads when fibers no longer recover, the foam interface is damaged or the loop backing loses retention.
Do not exceed the tool, plate or pad limits. Avoid concentrated edge pressure, stop the machine before cleaning and keep loose clothing and cables clear of the rotating assembly.
