The correct choice of objective lens is important in order to obtain optimally sized Vickers, Knoop, and Brinell indents on the screen. The selection of objective lenses depends on the material hardness and the test method used. If you cannot mount your sample and/or it has a particular geometry, you can use one of the vices or jaws available.
