Process configurations
Pressure-fed P cabinets are intended for more intensive blasting, while suction-fed S cabinets provide a less aggressive treatment. SR and PR configurations use a separate recovery power pack to manage the abrasive supply. The 92PMB, 125PMB and 150PMB variants form a further pressure-fed cabinet range.
Cabinet enclosure dimensions
These figures describe cabinet enclosures. They should be kept separate from the maximum component envelope of the robotic system.
| 92SR / 92PR | 896 × 796 × 800 mm (width × depth × height). |
|---|---|
| 125SR | 1250 × 1000 × 950 mm (width × depth × height). |
| 150SR / 150PR | 1500 × 1340 × 1180 mm (width × depth × height). |
200 PR robotic system
The 200 PR combines a six-axis ABB robot with an indexed rotary table and Siemens PLC control. Its stated component envelope is up to 1500 mm in diameter and 800 mm high, with a maximum component weight of 250 kg. Configurations range from manual adjustment to closed-loop regulation of pressure and media flow.
Automation options and applications
Options include tables with 4, 6 or 8 numerical satellites, a rotating lance for bores or slots, media-change equipment, screening and magnetic separation. Process supervision can provide quality reports and maintenance support.
Applications include removing rust, heat scale or paint; preparing surfaces for painting, bonding or plating; surface texturing; peening; and component cleaning. The selected media, recovery system and controls depend on the chosen configuration.
