High-throughput layout
KSL is intended for industrial mass production where several removal and finish stages must run at a continuously adjustable feed rate. The documented maximum feed speed is 50 m/h for the cited configuration.
Top and bottom stations can share sanding-belt lengths, simplifying belt stock and changeover.
Station technologies
Available modules include contact rollers, P2 planetary heads, CBF finish units, cross belts, pressure beams and texturing brushes. Their order can be selected around calibration, veneer protection, lacquer sanding or decorative structure.
Pressure and detection control
ISA/ISD segmented pressure beams distribute sanding pressure across faces and edges. Laser workpiece detection identifies dimensional variation up to 2 mm and can recognize defined color contrasts for targeted control.
Production engineering
High feed speed requires coordinated part spacing, belt loading, extraction and pressure-beam programming. Veneer and lacquer applications need removal limits and grit sequences validated before full-rate production.
