MP-2TR7 Peening Cell | Wheelabrator
The MP 2TR7 is a compact two-table robotic airblast cell for shot peening complex rotary aerospace components. Its opposed loading and processing positions are arranged to reduce idle time while a multi-axis robot controls external nozzle treatment.

Component handling
Two rotating and indexing tables sit on opposite sides of the revolving door. One position can be loaded while the other is in the peening cycle, supporting high equipment utilization. An inflatable seal closes the revolving door.
Peening control
A multi-axis robot carries the external-treatment nozzles. Precision pressure pots use closed-loop regulation, with monitoring of pressure, shot flow and air flow.
Media management
The standard process train uses pitless pneumatic recovery. A dedicated classification device handles selected media sizes using sieving stages and a shape classifier.
Application and options
The cell targets complex rotary components associated with aerospace production. Available options listed for the platform include an anti-explosion dust collector, integrated shot-flow calibration and a full sound enclosure specified below 78 dB. Optional values apply only when those packages are fitted.
